Broker's Comments

Boatshed Grand Union is very pleased to offer this wide beam canal boat that is fitted with full disabled access. She could be bought and used as she is currently fitted out. Alternatively, the seller is willing to remove all specialist equipment which will provide the new owner with a light and roomy and adaptable boat for easy cruising.

This craft was designed with the provision of enabling people with physical diabilities to enjoy the waterways. The joystick steering enables people with the greatest of disabilities to steer the craft with ease.

She is complete with boarding ramps, wheel chair lift at the forward and cockpit companionways, hospital bed in a good sized cabin, walk-in wet room with shower, fully fitted galley and saloon. All main areas have ceiling hoists.

Additional accommodation in two bunk rooms and convertable double and single berths in the saloon and a separate toilet with hand basin.

Steering is possible from a wheel in the large and covered forward cratch and by tiller on the spacious aft deck.

This is a boat that could continue in her intended putpose of providing holidays for less able people and their families. Alternatively, she may provide a blank canvass on which to adapt to your personal dream.
