The Zafferano 45 - yet another original boat listed by Croatia and Slovenia’s own unique brand of International Yacht Brokers, Boatshed Dalmatia. John Harkness says, “This was actually the first Istria-based boat we listed after we extended our boat sales up here. We were also more than happy to make this completely unique boat our very first listing in Istria. She is a Bruce Roberts designed steel build, with all the strength that goes with a steel boat. She also has the lines of a classic sports fisher. However, there is nothing standard about the interior. She feels extremely luxurious with a stylish, Italian-influenced interior and spacious accommodation. She really is one of those boats you just have to see – we personally haven’t seen anything like her before.”

The Zafferano 45 was built as a prototype, with a range of 3 different sizes planned. She was even RINA certified (at some expense!) and had her very own user’s manual produced. Unfortunately, the dream of a fleet of Zafferanos was never realized. This Zafferano 45 therefore remains the one and only Zafferano 45. So, her new owner really will have an absolute one-off. Her current owners have also only been on board 3 or 4 times in total so her new owner will be purchasing an incredibly lightly used boat!

Lynn Kennedy, co-owner of Boatshed Dalmatia adds, “I never thought I would say I liked a shiny red, steel hulled, sports fisher motor yacht. However, I have to admit - I just love this boat! She is a real individual. Our job is just to find an equally individual new owner for her!”
