Spotlight on a 65ft Converted Tug Liveaboard
This week we are highlighting a 4 berth Tug Liveaboard which holds Historic Ship status and boasts a bath, wood burning stove and central heating. Lying in Liverpool.
She was built in 1937 by WJ Yarwood at Northwich for the River Weaver Navigation Company.
She was designed primarily to serve the purpose of towing dumb barges but she was also used to transport stores and plant material.
The current owners have owned her since 2005 when she was converted to a live aboard. They have a full photographic history available.
In 2007 she completed a 860 mile delivery trip cruising with ease at over 7 knots, she also obtained Historic Ship Status the same year.
