Described as a “Gentleman’s Angling Cruiser” this Kingfisher 30 for sale here at Boatshed Port Solent is exactly that! Robust, tough, beautifully built and superbly maintained, even the chap who surveyed her in May 2010 became pretty carried away, saying “she was a pleasure to survey.” Now you don’t get that too often from such a stern body of men as marine surveyors! Her accommodation is simple but well designed, and her present owner uses her for day expeditions. She could easily be slightly modified with a loo and maybe another berth, then she’d make a great weekender too. Add an opening transom with a platform and maybe she’d make a good sturdy dive boat as well? Come and have a look, she really does inspire confidence!
