Broker's Comments
Boatshed Lancashire are pleased to offer this rare Bavaria 47 'Exclusive'. In private ownership since new and never chartered, she was hand-built in Germany and the excellent craftmanship is evident immediately on stepping aboard.
Extra mast height and deeper fin keel allow for an improved performance when passage making and yet she is surprisingly easy to sail short-handed with all sails furling efficiently.
Below decks are where the surprises continue and her volume astounds. This yacht has the 4 cabin layout with a glorious owners cabin in the bow which benefits from recent double insulating keeping her warm in winter and cool in warmer climes. The huge saloon and galley area show quality everywhere and some practical extras commissioned by the previous owners include USB charge points throughout.
A lovely go-anywhere ocean cruiser and with her space and style she even offers the perfect live-aboard characteristics.
The boat has been used as a live aboard for the past 9 years and the owners have just moved off.
